The adidas Auckland Marathon course runs from Devonport on Auckland's North Shore, around the shopping district of North Shore City, and then crosses the northern motorway before turning south to the Harbour Bridge.

This is a true charity event, owned by Athletics Australia, a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the management of the sport of athletics in Australia - which means all surplus goes back into sport development and elite programs.  The event has 28 affiliated charities and the fundraising target for this year is $2.2 million...

The Gold Coast event courses travel along the coastal line and provide very flat, picturesque routes, and will be marked at every kilometre.

The Perth City to Surf Marathon is one the most scenic courses in Australia. The route takes Participants on a scenic tour from the City to the Surf, incorporating the traditional City to Surf route of the 12km event which has been run every August for 35 years.
