The race begins in Prague’s Old Town Square, goes through the city’s historical centre, crosses over the Charles’s Bridge and then heads out towards the suburbs before turning around and finishing back in the Old Town Square.
Combining sport with culture the Marathon Music Festival has become an integral part of Prague running circuit.The narrow streets in the first 2 miles enforce a leisurely early pace, with the violinist on the Charles Bridges the first musicians along the way. After that jazz, funk, samba, reggae and classical music groups help the runners as the miles take their toll.

ENTRY FEES
The entry fee for the Prague International Marathon is EUR €60, which is non-refundable.
All runners must be 18 years and over to compete in the Marathon
QUALIFYING TIMES
There are no qualifying times for this event.
START TIME
The Prague International Marathon starts at 9am.
CUT-OFF TIMES
There is a 6 hour time limit for this event
RACE TIMING
The race will be timed using timing chip technology.
RACE PACKETS
Each competitor in the marathon receives a start bag containing the official T-shirt, the marathon magazine, bib number and timing chip. You'll also receive a free Czech beer, massage and various discount vouchers.
PACE SETTERS
There will be pace setters for the following times: 3:00, 3:30, 4:00 and 4:30 and these pace setters will be clearly marked at the beginning of the race.
AID STATIONS
There will be aid stations every 5kms starting from the 5th kilometre. There will also be sponge stations halfway between each aid station. Free massage will be available at both the start and finish of the marathon race.
PERSONAL REFRESHMENTS AND CLOTHING
Deposit bags will be available near the start of the race for personal items.
TRANSPORT
All runners receive free transportation on race day from 7am to 5pm for runners providing that they show their start numbers.
EXPO
The Expo will be held at Mustek, the lower part of Wenceslas Square.
