The Marathon course starts at the Piazza Venezia (near the Roman Forum) and finishes at the Colloseum (close to the start). The race takes you through the historic piazzas of the Capital such as the Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps), past Saint Peter's, the Synagogue and the Mosque as well as to the Olympic Stadium.
You will also run through the remainders of Rome's glorious past like the Pantheon, the Circus Maximus and the Trevi Fountain, and then on to the triumphant arrival at the Colosseum, the Arch of Costantine, the Forum of Rome and the Imperial Forums.
