White-washed villages, good food and great sailing through the azure Ionian Sea are the fundamental attractions of this idyllic sailing experience. Nowhere in the world can you find this exhilarating combination of sea, sunshine, magnificent islands and monuments, both ancient and mediaeval, as found in Greece.
Sailing from Island to Island, we'll spend plenty of time ashore exploring fishing villages and historic sites or just relaxing on the secluded beaches far away from the busy resorts. Evenings are spent with our yacht moored in quiet coves, surrounded only by natural beauty, or close to a village where we can have our evening meal in a taverna and maybe dance the "sirtaki".
Our modern ocean-going yachts are well appointed and under the command of experienced skippers who will be glad to teach you sailing skills. You can be as active or passive as you like. The yachts follow an island hopping route for up to 21 days at a time - we pick you and drop you off at either Preveza on the mainland or Corfu.
We may visit Ancient Nikopolis, the small picturesque town of Parga, or the island of Ithaca, known as the home of Ulysses to absorb the fascinating history and warm hospitality of these ports of call.
As this is a Island-hoping 7, 14 or 21 day sailing trip the exact itinerary will vary depending on the weather conditions and the number of days on board. Below however is a list of the Islands and towns you are likely to stop at as you sail around the Ionion Sea,
