Two Oceans Marathon - South AfricaI would like to thank you for helping me organise my trip to Cape Town and enter the 2 oceans run. Everything went smoothly and we had a great time. We really enjoyed the area and hope to go back for a visit. The Vineyard hotel was spectacular we had lots of fun. Good choice thank you. The race was very tough and we got a warm day to help the matter. I was 15 mins out of the time I was hoping for but I am glad to have competed and finished to tell the tale.Absolutely loved Two Oceans - everything ran smoothly - the transfers and the accommodation at the Vineyard was fantastic. The friendship run the day before was also a lot of fun, but most of all loved the run itself. Thanks to Travelling Fit for organising everything and also all of my post event accommodation and tours. Everything was perfect, can't wait to go back again.
Ultra Trail AustraliaI absolutely loved this event met people on the way having chats helping people getting over heights fear, had some great laughs, the volunteers amazing, joining in laughing with us. I could not fault anything. Our accommodation at Katoomba Central Motel was brilliant; so central and very helpful at the Reception. It’s nice to stay in old fashion accommodation for a change we had everything supplied. The bus service well we could not fault it, fabulous. Thank you to the Travelling Fit team for helping me with my queries. This is the second time I have taken on Traveling Fit including NY in 2016, a great service supplied.
Walt Disney World Marathon - USAI am by no means a runner and participated because my sister is a runner and wanted to do the Dopey Challenge. We came back to re-do the event with friends we met the year before through Travelling Fit. Being part of the Travelling Fit group, with their encouragement and humour, makes the event so enjoyable. Disney is all about participation and enjoying being active, so I would recommend this event to both runners and non-runners just having a go.As a 'non-runner' who trained to do the first two events ( 5 & 10km) it was a fantastic experience to be with a group of people that were so supportive and encouraging of each other regardless of participation levels. The group absolutely was my highlight - made it so much more enjoyable being part of a group and sharing achievements. We had a fantastic time, met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed the whole Marathon Weekend. The races and Expo were very well run (and the bling just seemed to get better every day). Travelling Fit's help was greatly appreciated, we added extra days and had several questions relating to that and they always checked things out and got back to us ASAP. We really can't thank them enough.I would just like to personally thank you for the work that you have done to bring all this together. Everything went extremely well right from when we left Melbourne until we returned. All flights connected without any rushing or fears of missing the connection. The stop over hotel in Los Angeles was well located giving us the opportunity to buy a SIM card and have a look at some of the key sights. The marathon at Disney World was absolutely amazing. It was just so well organised right from the time we were picked up at the airport until we were dropped off at the end. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We just felt that they were so pleased to have us there. The marathon was unlike any other marathon I have ever run (It was number 13 for me). Almost everyone was just running to have fun. People were constantly stopping to line up and have photos taken with the hoards of Disney characters scattered around the course. The crowd support was incredible. There was almost a constant stream of people cheering you on all the way around. I would highly recommend this marathon for any one, it was fantastic.Just a quick note of thanks for assisting with my Walt Disney World Marathon experience. All went well and I'm pleased to say I had a lot of fun doing this marathon, even if it was a new PW (personal worse) time for me. It is an event you can't take too seriously, as all the Disney characters are out along the course, so people stop to have their photos taken. I even wore Minnie Mouse ears while I was running, as most people were dressed up and it helped get you in the spirit of the race. The highlight would have to have been running through Cinderella's castle which was all lit up at around 6am. It just looked truly spectacular... thanks again for doing a wonderful job with my booking.
