Embark on this six-day running adventure to explore the untouched splendour of Mount Aspiring National Park, where you’ll encounter glaciers, snowfields, mountains, valleys, and diverse wildlife.

The Course
Day 1 – Welcome gathering in charming Arrowtown, 7-10 km hike, taking around 3 hours, travel around 2 hours to reach Lake Wakatipu to gently immerse yourself in the terrain and get acquainted with the beauty of your new surroundings. Welcome Gathering in Arrowtown at 10:00 hrs.
Day 2 – Grounding morning yoga session, 6-8 km laid-back trail run along the lake, followed by an optional dip for those inclined to take a refreshing plunge. Shifting gears, we’ll ease into a local cultural workshop, deepening the connection to the land and its traditions.
Day 3 – 15 km Routeburn Track Run – Starting from Routeburn Shelter, the route will take you alongside the clear river, passing Sugarloaf Stream and climbing to Bridal Veil Waterfall, then continuing above the gorge. After crossing a swing bridge, you will come across open grassy flats, leading to the Routeburn Flats Hut. Note: Elevation gain is 350m.
Day 4 – Invigorating cold water immersion, 10km Dart River Run. After run, enjoy a restorative mid-morning session of sound healing and yoga to rebalance the body and mind.
Day 5 – 16km Lake Rere Trail Run – Traverse native bushland, gradually ascending to reveal astonishing views. Weather permitting, you will be captivated by Mt Earnslaw/Pikirakatahi sitting atop Lake Wakatipu in the distance. In the afternoon, indulge in a relaxing breath and stretch session Note: Elevation gain is 445m
Day 6: Maori Sound Healing Practice – Farewell. After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Queenstown, stopping along the way to bid farewell to the National Park. Recommended Departure Time: Anytime after 17:00 hrs
NOTE: Days 3, 4, and 5 are interchangeable, ensuring flexibility based on weather conditions. Additionally, tailored options for distance and pace will be available to accommodate the varied preferences of the group.

Each day of trekking or running is included in the cost of your package.
Start Time
The days activities generally start between 7:30–9:00 a.m., depending on the day’s terrain and weather. Exact times will be confirmed daily during the experience.
Cut-Off Times
Not Applicable. The pace will be tailored to accommodate the varied preferences of the group.
Aid Stations
There won’t be aid stations or water drops like in a race setting.
However, you’ll have access to natural streams where you can refill bottles or filters.
A personal filter or purification method is recommended just in case.
Personal Refreshments and Clothing
Once registered, detailed clothing advice will be provided.

Transportation throughout the whole experience is included (excluding airport arrival/departure transfers).

November is the beginning of the summer adventure season in New Zealand, and Glenorchy beckons with its diverse weather conditions. The temperatures typically fluctuate between 13°C (55°F) and a low 4°C (39°F).
