The marathon route meanders through a variety of terrains, including rolling hills, rugged mountain paths, and expansive open steppes. Participants are treated to awe-inspiring views of the Paine Massif, the Towers of Paine, and the shimmering Grey Glacier. The course’s elevation changes and uneven surfaces demand a high level of endurance and adaptability from the runners.

Weather conditions in Patagonia add another layer of challenge and excitement. Runners can expect to encounter a mix of sunshine, rain, and strong winds, often all in the span of a few hours. This unpredictable climate tests the preparedness and resilience of the participants.
