Experience the adventure of the Patagonia Half Marathon
The Patagonian International Half Marathon, held each year in the breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, is a distinctive race renowned for its stunning scenery. Since its inception in 2012, this marathon has drawn runners from across the globe, offering not only a demanding physical test but also a chance to experience one of the planet’s most untouched natural settings.
Participants can select from multiple distances, including the full marathon, half marathon, and 10-kilometre race. The routes traverse varied terrains, encompassing rugged mountains, vast steppes, and glacial rivers, providing runners with spectacular views of landmarks such as the Paine Massif, the Towers, and the Grey Glacier.
In addition to the physical challenge, the Patagonian International Marathon champions environmental preservation and eco-friendly tourism. It is a carbon-neutral event dedicated to minimising environmental impact and supporting local conservation projects, making it a true testament to both endurance and the commitment to protecting Patagonia’s natural wonders.

The route’s varying elevations and uneven terrain require significant endurance and adaptability from the participants.
