Leeca joined the Travelling Fit team in May 2007 and arrived with over 20 years worth of experience in the travel industry.
Leeca’s travel industry experience has been gained working predominantly in the accounts and administration areas, but her responsibilities have also included being an Accounts Manager and dealing with Foreign Exchange transactions.
She began her career with Thomas Cook working in corporate travel as an accounts clerk, and over the years she has worked for some of Australia’s biggest and most successful travel companies, such as American Express, Carlson Wagon-Lit, Traveland, Travelworld, and Harvey World Travel to name a few.
Leeca has travelled extensively, especially in South East Asia, and has visited such countries as Bali, Fiji, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as spending time in America and the UK.
After years of running her two boys around to their various sporting commitments, Leeca decided it was time for her to come out of retirement and head back to the softball diamond where she has been very successful taking out the Premiership for the last 3 years.
Whilst not yet an active runner, Leeca feels being part of the Travelling Fit Team (who are a great support) will help get her back into an exercise regime and increase her fitness.
With regular training and the support and encouragement of the Travelling Fit Team she believes that she will be tackling her first Marathon in no time.
