A newcomer to the Travelling Fit family, but no stranger to the world of fitness, travel and business, Leanne joins us after dedicating plenty of years to hospitality, event management, business management and family life!
With sport and fitness always being a way of life, it was only natural that her three children entered the world with the same passion for not sitting still. Whilst netball, dancing, touch football and the gym were her younger years passions, running became the perfect way to whittle away the countless hours spent waiting at football training and dancing!
After completing six marathons, a few City 2 Surfs, plus a Tough Mudder, an extended lay off following a couple of back surgeries simply made her more determined than ever to keep on running and she has since completed two half marathons, with running daily and reformer pilates being the new feel good essentials!
Having joined Travelling Fit in October this year, the preceding two years have seen Leanne pursuing her love of hospitality running her own coffee van café, as well as continuing to undertake all things admin for the smash repair business her and husband Paul have owned for the last 20 years.
Lots of family holidays have been spent in Bali, Fiji, Thailand and New Zealand whilst plenty of amazing memories have been created on countless camping trips with family and friends!
Prerequisites such as: event management; travel industry; administration; coupled with a healthy lifestyle meant Leanne wasn’t able to type her resume quick enough when she stumbled across the job advertisement for her current role. After a semi-relocation from the Mid North Coast of NSW Leanne says this role was made for her and has loved every minute of it thus far!
