Danielle has been a part of the Travelling Fit team since October 2018. She completed a Bachelor of Business and a Masters of Sports Management, before combining her passions for sport and travel and building her career in the travel industry selling marathons.
She’s always had a love for racing and grew up swimming competitively in Open Water distances up to 10km. She always did a little bit of running as cross-training but she has inevitably caught the running bug and now aims to tackle a new marathon every year. To date, she has ticked off the Sydney Marathon and Berlin Marathon, with more of the World Marathon Majors on the cards.
In her spare time, Danielle is a keen skier and snowboarder and loves mountain biking. Because she can’t pass up the opportunity to be involved in any sort of competition, she is now also dabbling in enduro mtb racing. She is also a volunteer Firefighter and is determined to be just as fit and strong as the boys at her department (including her husband!).
Danielle is currently based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada with her husband which is the perfect playground for their active lifestyle.
